Innovation Center for Applied Nanotechnology (I-CanNano, India) has two ventures in UK, I-Can Nano Limited & I-Can Paint Europe (Nano) Limited to explore UK & European markets. Initially ICAN NANO Limited was formed with help of DTI, UK and subsequently, spin out ICAN Paint Europe (Nano) Limited has been formed specially to develop nanotechnology based paints & coatings business.

 ICAN Paint Europe will be dealing with novel coatings from I-CanNano India e.g. anti-damp coating, glass coating, ceramic coating, stone coating, leather coating etc. Water base low VOC paints like elastomeric paints, anti-graffiti paints, gloss/ matt finish paints for building interiors & exteriors marketing is already underway. Various wood paints that are anti-fungal, water repellent, termite-free are being marketed.

 ICAN Paint Europe is being envisaged to emerge as leading nanotechnology based paint/ coating marketing company in Europe.
